Product

"Many sellers make the mistake of paying more attention to the specific products they offer than to the benefits and experiences produced by these products." (Marketing: An Introduction, pp. 7)

I don’t want to make that mistake, that’s why at Joysticks, our product isn’t a restaurant, it isn’t videogames, and it isn’t the food. Our product is “The experience of being in place where you feel happy, comfortable and welcomed.” We will then accomplish this with our ambiance, our video games, our food, our customer service and whatever our customers need.

"Marketing means managing markets to bring about profitable customer relationships. However, creating these relationships takes work." (Marketing: An Introduction, pp.9)

We will create such relationships by staying true to our previously mentioned product, and being a “customer-driven” company. We will create relationships with our customers and ask them what games, consoles, food, or anything else they would like to see in Joysticks.

"Customer-driven companies research current customers deeply to learn about their desires, gather new product and service ideas, and test proposed product improvements." (Marketing: An Introduction, pp.11)
